The Record & Learn iOS app uses on-device artificial intelligence to generate flashcards, quizzes, study notes, and slide decks from recorded audio. Users should be aware of the following:

• AI-generated study materials are not a substitute for professional academic instruction, tutoring, or expert advice
• Users should verify all AI-generated content for accuracy before relying on it for exams, assignments, or professional decisions
• Record & Learn LLC is not responsible for decisions made, grades received, or outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content

Record & Learn LLC manages Google Ads campaigns, Facebook pages, and Google Business Profiles on behalf of marketing clients. With respect to these third-party services:

• Record & Learn LLC does not control third-party platform policies, pricing structures, or algorithm changes
• Record & Learn LLC is not responsible for platform outages, policy changes, or account suspensions imposed by Google, Facebook/Meta, or Apple
• Record & Learn LLC cannot guarantee ad approval, account standing, or platform-specific outcomes
• Changes to third-party platform terms, features, or availability may affect campaign performance or service delivery without prior notice

The monthly marketing plan includes daily content posts to the client's Facebook and Instagram accounts. With respect to social media management:

• "Daily posting" is a commercially-reasonable-efforts commitment, not an absolute guarantee — posting cadence may vary due to platform limits, API outages, account restrictions or reviews, content-approval delays, holidays, or client requests, and such variations do not entitle the client to refunds or credits
• Record & Learn LLC does not guarantee any level of engagement, reach, impressions, likes, comments, shares, followers, or leads from social media content
• Social media platforms control their own algorithms, distribution, and policies — changes by Meta (Facebook/Instagram) may affect content performance or our ability to post, without notice
• Record & Learn LLC is not responsible for account suspensions, restrictions, or bans imposed by Meta on client accounts
• Clients are responsible for the accuracy of the business information, offers, and claims they provide for use in posts, and for reviewing published content and promptly requesting corrections

• Each business is unique, and results depend on factors specific to that business, its market, and its competitive landscape

• Client names and identifying details may be anonymized to protect client privacy

Record & Learn LLC offers a one-time website build and an optional monthly marketing plan, each priced by written quote. Pricing is subject to the following conditions:

• The website build is a one-time fee (as quoted in writing). It includes a custom-coded, mobile-first, SEO-ready website plus one year of hosting, one year of domain registration for a single standard domain, and one year of support (reasonable content updates and defect fixes), measured from launch
• After the first year, continued hosting, domain renewal, and support are not included — renewal pricing is offered in writing before the included year ends. If the website is not renewed or transferred, hosting and the domain may lapse and the site may go offline
• The one-time build fee (as quoted in writing) is due before launch and is non-refundable once design or development work has begun
• The optional marketing plan is a flat monthly fee (as quoted in writing) and covers exactly two services: Google Ads campaign management, and daily content posts to the client's Facebook and Instagram. No other services are included unless agreed in writing
• Google Ads ad spend is separate from the agreed monthly marketing fee (as quoted in writing) and is paid directly to Google by the client
• The monthly plan may be cancelled at any time, with no contracts — it is billed monthly in advance, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no pro-rated refunds are issued for partial months
• Cancelling the monthly plan does not affect the website — the build and the plan are independent services
• Complex builds — multi-location sites, e-commerce, custom booking systems, integrations, and iOS or full-stack app builds — fall outside the standard build and are scoped and quoted separately in writing before any work begins
• Record & Learn LLC reserves the right to modify pricing and terms at any time for future quotes and renewals

Important — Ownership of Created Content:

Websites delivered under the one-time build are licensed to the client upon full payment — the client may use, host, modify, and transfer the delivered website for their own business, while Record & Learn LLC retains ownership of its underlying code libraries, templates, and tooling. All content created under the monthly marketing plan — ad creatives, ad copy, campaign structures, Facebook and Instagram posts, captions, graphics, and video assets — remains the exclusive intellectual property of Record & Learn LLC, and the license to use it ends if the plan is cancelled or unpaid. Client-provided assets (logos, original photos, pre-existing brand materials) remain the client's property. See our Terms of Service (Section 6: Intellectual Property) for full details.

Client websites are hosted, and domains registered, through reputable third-party providers. With respect to hosting, security, and availability:

• Record & Learn LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website uptime — outages caused by hosting providers, domain registrars, DNS services, or other third parties are outside Record & Learn LLC's control
• No website can be guaranteed secure. Record & Learn LLC applies reasonable, industry-standard practices but does not warrant that any website will be free from unauthorized access, attacks, or vulnerabilities, and is not liable for security incidents beyond its reasonable control
• Clients are responsible for keeping their own copies of all materials they provide (photos, logos, text). Record & Learn LLC is not liable for lost content or data
• If the included first year of hosting and domain registration is not renewed and the website is not transferred, the site may go offline and the domain may become available for registration by others — Record & Learn LLC is not liable for losses resulting from non-renewal

Clients remain responsible for the legal compliance of their own business and the claims it makes. Specifically:

• Record & Learn LLC builds websites and content to general industry best practices but does not warrant compliance with accessibility standards (such as WCAG or ADA-related requirements), industry-specific regulations, or advertising rules specific to the client's profession, unless expressly agreed in writing
• Clients are responsible for ensuring that their offers, pricing, licensing claims, health or professional claims, and promotions comply with the laws and regulations that apply to their business — including content Record & Learn LLC prepares from information the client provides
• Clients are responsible for having the legal right to all assets they supply (logos, photos, text, customer images) and for obtaining any releases or permissions those assets require
• Nothing produced by Record & Learn LLC constitutes legal advice — clients should consult a qualified attorney for compliance questions specific to their industry

The following applies specifically to Backcountry Brain and any wilderness-related features:

• AI species identification is approximate and should not be used as the sole basis for determining whether a plant, animal, or fungus is safe
• Survival protocols and wilderness guidance are general information and not a substitute for professional outdoor training, local knowledge, or emergency services
• Navigation features supplement but do not replace proper maps, compass, and GPS devices
• Always tell someone your plans before entering the wilderness and carry appropriate emergency equipment
• In any emergency, contact local emergency services immediately

The following applies to The Bill and similar tools:

• The Bill and similar tools provide calculations and estimates for personal budgeting purposes only
