Thank you for using RemindMe, operated by Record & Learn LLC ("we", "us", "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how RemindMe handles your information.

Summary

RemindMe does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your data stays on your device.

Data Storage

RemindMe stores the following data locally on your device:

• Reminder titles and notes
• Due dates and times
• Priority levels and categories
• Completion status
• Your first name (entered during onboarding, used for personalization)
• App preferences (theme selection, sort preferences)
• Gamification data (petals, XP, level, streak, achievements)

All data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework (SQLite database) directly on your device. No data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No contacts or address book access
• No health or fitness data
• No browsing history
• No device identifiers sent externally
• No crash reports sent to external services

AI Features (Hana)

RemindMe includes an AI assistant named Hana powered by Apple Foundation Models. All AI processing occurs entirely on your device. No conversation data, prompts, or responses are transmitted to any external server. Your interactions with Hana remain completely private.

Voice Input

RemindMe offers optional voice input for interacting with Hana. Speech recognition is performed on-device using Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer framework. Your voice data is not transmitted to any external server or third party.

In-App Purchases

RemindMe offers optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and petal packs) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials. All payment processing is handled by Apple.

Notifications

RemindMe uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming tasks. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS. No push notification server is used, and no notification data is sent externally.

Third-Party Services

RemindMe does not use any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks. The app operates entirely offline and independently.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you:

• Delete individual reminders within the app
• Uninstall the app from your device

Children's Privacy

RemindMe is suitable for users of all ages. The app does not require account creation, does not collect personal information, and does not include any age-restricted content. RemindMe complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can:

• View all your data within the app at any time
• Edit or delete any reminder
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app

GDPR and CCPA Compliance

RemindMe is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we do not collect, process, or store any personal data on external servers, there is no data to request, export, or delete from our side. All data management is in your hands.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App through an update with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
